MY STORY
My story of public speaking is one whose streams have met the ocean. My love for public peaking began sprouting when I was 10 years old - in grade 5 and doing poetry. Two years later, I was introduced to debate and public speaking. After realizing my passion and connection to speaking, I went on to pursuing debate and public speaking throughout my high school years. My love grew further for advocating for and speaking thereafter.
"I want to help people and if people are not going to give me the opportunity to do that, I want to create that opportunity for myself."
These words, packaged with my desire to serve people and the support of a group of likeminded friends, are what brought GroundBreakers to birth - an organization that helps people in different ways.
Having decided to fully pursue my passion, I went on to study Journalism and Radio Production. On the side, I help companies develop marketing plans, offering personal branding services in addition. As one who was drawn into the mining industry, I received an opportunity to volunteer at an empowerment summit for women, offering my skills while learning more about the industry.
I later joined ACMS for communication and marketing services, after which I was made part of their team. I aim to lead with my voice and positively affect the mining industry with what I am passionate about and excel at public speaking and advocacy.
